Research Services
Our methodology is systematic. Upon first initial discussions with fund managers or development supervisors we build a clear picture of what investment opportunity is on offer and what the underlying asset is. We allow ourselves to be led by, but aren’t limited to, valuations, financial reports, interviews, consultations, on-site inspections, past performance, and managerial capabilities. There is a stage in our research where we like to ‘follow our nose’. This is where we use our intuition and experience to uncover what a developer or manager does not want anyone to see. This forms the basis of our job.
Our research culminates into several core reports. Other reports are available at request, however, below are the reports that are typically received when we are engaged to research an investment fund or project.

Compliance Review
1
We analyse and determine how well the proposed investment/development adheres the Australian financial services legislation, and other competing requirements.

Investment Review
2
This document outlines a vast array of economic, financial, and risk-based considerations for the proposed investment / development – providing you with relevant information at both a macro- and micro-economic level.

Suitable Consumer Analysis
3
Our SCA breaks down the mechanics of how the fund will operate and provide key information for both financial professionals and interested investors.
At a glance, this document will help individuals to decide whether a proposed investment/development might be appropriate for their circumstances, and how the product can be distributed to interested persons.

Cost Mapping Table
4
These documents are intended to provide prospective investors with an upfront, and transparent disclosure of the costs and fees which may be incurred in the relevant investment/development.
We publish this information as a stand-alone document to ensure that our audience has complete and accurate information, regarding costs, to assist in their decision making.

Feasibility Analysis
5
We prepare this document primarily for the managers of a proposed development to assess the viability of the project, in addition to maximising the potential return on equity, and operating in such a way to minimise risks to the greatest extent possible in the circumstances.

Prospective investors can review this document to understand the investment in intricate detail, and inform their decision making.
